I was driving south on US 29 this afternoon, having visited a government office in DC in the morning. As I passed a Sheetz station just south of Madison, VA, a new Supercharger site was going up. But it’s not shown on Tesla’s Supercharger map as ‘planned’...it’s not shown at all. Great news for those that travel this highway, but I can rattle off a number of other spots that desperately need one. Charleston, SC for example, has shown ‘planned’ for the last few years and they need one a lot more urgently than the one going up in Madison as there is one just a few miles down the road in Charlottesville, VA. I go to Charleston a lot but I will be ICEing it because no place to charge that won’t take forever. Wish I knew the method to Tesla’s madness regarding construction of new Superchargers.
