I am currently reading a biography of Nikola Tesla and ran across this passage:
"[W]hat counts . . . is that inventors like Tesla come to believe in their ideas so strongly that they are willing to rearrange their external world in order to make their ideas into reality. In imposing their ideas on the world, inventors create the revolutionary technology that unleashes the creative destruction of capitalism."
