Warranty on the Screen?

Warranty on the Screen?

I haven't seen any posts or info on the Warranty for the Central Screen.
Since the screen is imperative to the overall functionality of the car, I'm wondering if it is included as part of the Powertrain 8 year warranty.

Also curious what the cost out of warranty is to replace the screen.

It depends.

On a normal car the dash displays things related to the emissions or something else that is ECU related and regulated by the government which requires a 5 or 7 year warranty. I had a friend with a normal car that had 2 dashes go bad on him and wound up paying 1500 each time to replace them since the dealer didnt tell him it should have covered by the warranty.

It's covered under the 4 year, 50,000 mile limited vehicle warranty.

You know it's covered under the 4 year/ 50K? I think that's pretty lame if true. That should be an extended warranty piece since the car can't operate without it.
