Do the Tesla S have traction control/antispin include?
Yes. They recommend that you have it on at all times because the car's acceleration is so powerful.
Is it me, or does anyone really not notice a difference with the traction control off? Maybe it is just limited more and not really disengaged? I would have thought that if it was off, the tires would spin obnoxiously. I have a S85 and do not notice a huge difference.
@jfewins - TC makes a huge difference accelerating hard while turning - leave it off if you want to break the rear end free.
I've done some research here, and the Model S has a pretty unusual system, in my experience.
It has both traction and stability control, with the ability to defeat the "traction control" via the UI. However, from the descriptions provided, it seems more like the UI actually disables the stability control, leaving traction control intact. This is why you need to pull a fuse that disables ABS, stability control, and traction control among a host of other important features in order to do burnouts.
@Gizmotoy - no, I have been able to trigger stability management, when intentionally trying to on wet pavement, while TC was off.
