Today is March 2nd. Hopefully TM started producing Red Color Tesla S. Please whoever gets any information on a first production, please post.
@JaneW There's the "reservation confirmation number" (mine is in 300,000s like yours) and "reservation sequence number," which I gather used to be easier to find. I have mine on a printout of the confirmation webpage at the end of the the finalization process, and I can't really find it anywhere else.
Maybe some other folks know where to look for it otherwise.
Tesla is no longer issuing and displaying the reservation sequence number for buyers in the US. I think they still are for overseas. I think they either must have been getting too many whines from people, saw that this number was providing too much information to the public, or just saw it as unnecessary now that orders are getting filled so quickly. The "excitement" factor of the sequence number is now all gone.
You are the first .....
Many wait behind you.
I hope to join you soon
I think there are several others with VIN #s, and it sounds like the third week of April will be RED active. Hope yours comes soon.
Can't pull out the individual shots, but here's the photo page:
Yes, can't wait to see some pics from these fresh deliveries!
I just got my "Get Started: Delivery Information Requested... It's time to schedule your delivery." email from Tesla. Finally!
I'm #4605 and my other details are in the red tracking spreadsheet if you're interested.
That is awesome!!!!! Happy for you and I hope to see that email soon too.
I also received my "Delivery" button today. Looks like the next several weeks will be very RED!
I got the email today, as well. I think my number was 2198 (they took it off the website). I've been living this fantasy so long, it's a little weird (and strangely scary) to realize it's about to become reality. I plan on taking delivery at home; I don't have time to go pick it up and I'm not comfortable making its virgin trip start so far from home. There are already several MS driving around here, but I think mine will be the first 2013 red. Time to schedule!
Just pushed the button.
Says April 11 -- 24.
Got my 'time to plan delivery'button today, 7544, window of April13-27, Dallas. Planning to take delivery at the service center here. Wonder if it will be the first Red in Texas??
Heard a rumor that Red reservees are camping out in front of the Santana Row store to get first glimpse tomorrow.
Went to the private opening of the new store in Santana Row today (only Tesla owners invited), and the Red was simply stunning.
It isn't screaming Ferrari red, yet not as subdued as the Signature Red. Pictures cannot capture the color accurately at all (mine or the ones I have seen in the gallery).
Really worth the wait. Best. Red. Ever.
There's a discussion on red over at TMC. Someone posted pics from Santana Row, but it's actually the same car that's been on tour and not a production line vehicle.
Hoping to see the real PRODUCTION RED in the next week. Can't wait

Got another email from Dani S., a delivery specialist yesterday. I provided my Driver's License, Insurance and factory pick-up date.
Got a call from her this morning, and finalized the final MVPA (signed over email via DocuSign). I have a VIN number now and my tentative factory pick-up date is Saturday 4/13 at 11am.
She also mentioned that the date will need to be confirmed next week, since the factory was shutdown for retooling and will begin production again on Monday.
Maybe I'll see some of you at the factory on 4/13. :)
PS : Updated the spreadsheet as well.

Got my delivery button last night. April 26 - May 10. Sequence number 13704. Installed my NEMA 14-50 this morning. All set!......
No button, and I am order # 884! Called the Bellevue store; learned that they can see a button on their side, even though IE8 doesn't show it in my Explorer window. They worked through the survey with me, and confirmed I am batched in the delivery window of April 26 to May 10.
Makes for a better weekend...
That's what you get for using an oldie von moldie proprietary non-compliant browser.
Looks like the reds are starting to flow like the Hudson River now. Just got my delivery button. 85P, Pano, Sound, Air, Obeche Gloss, Tech. Finalized 12/6/12. Window 4/19 - 5/3. Whooo Hoooo!!!
@thomas.george1 and @Peter J
I had to call to get my delivery button to show up. Finalized end of Dec 2012, Sequence 16 K. Now set for delivery May 3-17 at the Service Center. (apparently no more home deliveries). P85.
DC@Tesla - who did you call? I've tried calling and get nothing.
P85, #3422, 3/2011, Red
I was assigned a delivery specialist after I finalized. I e-mailed him and got a call back the very next day. Very nice customer care! (Looks like they are following the sequence numbers so you should be in since your also ordered a P85, but it seems location may also matter; I'm in California. Hope you have a a delivery date soon).
Delivery button showed up on April 1 (briefly considered that it might be an elaborate joke),got a call from Tesla on April 3, sent pictures of license and insurance card on April 4. Got the paperwork by email on April 5 and signed tonight (April 6). I have a VIN and a delivery window of 4/13-4/27. Nothing left to do but pay a bunch of money and wait for delivery. Reservation #2198, P60.
Re-sharing this from TMC's red tracking thread. Elon twitter'd a factory pic of the red:https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/321407591584509952/photo/1
My tentative factory pick-up date is scheduled for this Sat, 4/13, so I hope that is not my car in the picture unless they can speed it along pronto! :-)
Is he allowed to take photos in the factory?
Can't post it here.
Or maybe ...
Who prefers the robo-red? :\
@Brian I prefer the car red, not the robo-red. My big fear was that this red would be orangey, which I associated with cheap sports cars trying to get your attention. It looks like I'm going to love this color. Glad I took the risk and ordered it.
