Deposit refund

I had to cancel my Model 3 reservation about 3 months ago (found out that their nearest service center is 1000km away and there's no plans to build one in my country). In the terms & conditions (https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/model_3_reservation_agreement_...) it says that I will receive full refund of the deposit fee. But so far I've received nothing, no contact from Tesla and they are not responding to my e-mails. Any advice what to do?

How did you request the transfer? I chose the bank ACH and it took only 3 business days.

How did you choose that option? When I canceled the reservation, there was no information about that and I thought they will send the money back to my debit card (the way I payed the deposit fee).

I think it said bank transfer.

It was one of the 3 options. Check, debit, bank. (Something along those lines.)

Good luck! We cancelled our reservation, and requested our refund. Followed up several times, and you get ambiguous excuses, no-one follows through, no-one returns emails, no-one calls you. Always some other department's job, and no manager available. Finally, I started calling twice a day, yelled and screamed at one guy, no-one would put a supervisor on. They knew I was right, but wouldn't talk to me. Finally got a supervisor who actually agreed to personally follow it through, and received the cheque about 10 days later. Five months it took to get the 3-4 week refund. FIVE MONTHS!

Tesla knows talking to people doesn't make you money. Tesla knows the average person willing to fork out money for a Tesla does not have the time to chase them for trivial problems. So they try to wait you out. You can't call them. They don't return emails.

Last year we made an educated consumer decision not to purchase a Tesla. Our experience has ensured that we will never purchase anything from Tesla. Ever.

I requested my refund months ago and have yet to receive it. And by moths, I me like... none months ago. I'm not sure how to go about getting my money.

I cancelled a reservation for a Model 3 back in 2017 when I realized a Model X better fit my needs. The MX now sits in my driveway and I got the $1,000 deposit credited to my credit card in a month. That was my experience.
