Three odd events; energy use, tire pressure monitor, screen dark

Three weird events:

Tire pressure monitor stated it could not connect. OK set up service appointment. Tried rebooting several times. No change.

Screen showed dark on startup a few days later. Rebooted. Then rebooted system. Tire monitor alert goes away.

Car energy usage shows consumption at 4960 watts per mile for about 2 miles.

I have a service appointment Wednesday. Since the tire pressure monitor no longer signals an issue, I'm considering concelling but the consumption spike concerns me.

I'm concerned about the MCU getting wonky.

Any ideas?

What is the temperature where the car was parked? If it is cold the battery is cold soaked. On start up you are heating the battery and the cabin. The display is showing energy consumption that is a lot higher than normal over a very short distance. The divisor is a very small number like .01 miles or .1 miles.

600 watts divided by 0.1 miles is 6000 watts per mile. When you get to 1 mile it is 600 watts per mile. At 2 miles it is 300 watts per mile. What you are seeing is normal. In other words the reading is meaningless until you put some miles on the car.
