With all those cameras available on model X and S it should be great to have a top view camera, this exist on couple of cars already, should not be that hard to configure on Tesla ?
This feature is really amazing when parking.
what do you think ?
The one issue is that the front facing cameras are in the windshield so there is a blind spot in front of the car.
1) the front and side cameras are monochrome - optimized for AP, not owner viewing
2) The side cameras are pointed outwards and do not cover the area at the immediate side of the car.
3) Feature is less important when the car can park itself.
Still a 360 degree view would be handy. It's been a highly requested feature, but may require additional cameras. Vote for it at: https://teslatap.com/questions/360-view-camera/

It probably also explains the Uber's failure to prevent the Tempe fatality of Wednesday, if the AP relied on the LIDAR (rather than the dash-cam or the radar sensors) to program its Collision Avoidance algorithms.
Watched the video of the lady with the bicycle. Immediately wondered why she would walk out directly in front of an oncoming car.
Reminds me of the little kid, running out between two parked cars, chasing a ball. No chance to avoid hitting him.

The information you provided is very useful for all the drivers. It would be very helpful at the time of parking. I think by using this we can reduce the number of accidents. https://www.organizetechnologies.com Thanks for giving me such useful information.
