"CHARGING EQUIPMENT PROBLEM TRY ANOTHER CABLE" with LOUD sound when driving

edited November -1 in Model 3
We plugged our ipad into the rear usb port. Now we receive a flashing message on the middle left of our screen that reads, "Charging equipment problem. Try another cable."
The message comes up about every 30 seconds with a loud sound. We have tried plugging other cords into the rear usb ports and it doesn't charge. Most important is we need to remove this loud warning message. It makes driving the car very annoying. HELP!!

So this is happening when no cable is plugged in now? Either way, go to the Tesla Service Center or call the support number.

    The iPad's screen or the car's ?

The car’s screen. It makes the car really difficult to drive as it is an annoying and goes off every 5-10 seconds. When this started, it went off every 30 seconds, but now it’s almost continual.

    You rebooted?

Did you unplug the iPad? My guess is the iPad draws more current than the USB can provide.
