if your on a Linux or a Unix system this is what rm -rf does:

    rm -r files
(recursive remove) Remove files, directories, and their subdirectories. Careful with this command as root--you can easily remove all files on the system with such a command executed on the top of your directory tree, and there is no undelete in Linux (yet). But if you really wanted to do it (reconsider), here is how (as root): rm -rf /*

    so be careful

    How about "drop db"?

Maybe we will get new forum software. I hear that they are looking at way to find all the posts already written about something that you are interested in. I think they are tentatively calling it "Search".

"Edit" is scheduled for Q2 2025.

In the UNIX / Linux world "rm -rf /" is kind of a very old joke subject. People have been joking about accidentally deleting your system that way for at least 40 years.

How's this related to our Teslas? Are you able to SSH into your car?

@cornellio The joke is that someone at Tesla did this to the drive holding the forum posts. 8 years of posts disappeared overnight.
