Phantom Window Rolling All the Way Down

edited November -1 in Model 3
Has anyone figured out what is causing the windows, passenger side almost exclusively, to roll down randomly after the vehicle has been exited? I see a ton of similar experiences but no solution. Tesla has replaced my door latch, harness, recalibrated about a million times, replaced trim suspected of letting water in, all internal mechanical parts in doors and the list goes on. Been in 4 times (plus Telsa Mobile 1 time)...on my 5th and hearing Tesla is STILL telling customers it is them manually doing this (trust me, it isn't). I'm at the end of my rope and will be asking for my car to be bought back unless a true cause and solution has been found. I am just blown away how wide spread this issue is and it hasn't been addressed. Love Tesla and love my 3, but this has got to get figured out. People are having their beautiful cars damaged like crazy (= depreciated value).

I haven't had the problem with the window but have seen a few posts here about it. How does the window rolling down by itself damage it? Or is it damaging something internally?

How many different reports have you actually read on this? Replacing something a "million times" indicates you may be prone to exaggeration and over reaction. I think there are meds for that.

The one, and only time I had a window roll down "all by itself" was just after the passenger forgot, and used the emergency door open instead of the button.

    Never before, and never since.

I have had people roll the window down unintentionally getting out of the car. That would be fixed by adding a lifted grid round the buttons.

Most of the time, the window button is hit while grabbing handle getting out of the car. I by chance saw window go down as passenger exit car

I have had a LR RWD since early July. I have noticed the window rolldown twice, and it was the front passenger side both times. Once with a friend who had never been in the car (thinking like evcar2), and once with my wife who knows car well. Hmmm. Live in Seattle, and luckily, not raining either time. But I'm kinda worried.

I know you said to trust you that it’s not human error. But I was having this problem too, and I turned out to be the culprit. It is soooo easy for the driver to unwittingly touch the window switches as he or she exits. I discovered I’m more prone to do it when the lateral clearance is tight, like in my garage, where I can’t open the door as far as I’d like. I’m most likely to hit the right-side switches, especially the rear one.
