Not even sure if the prototype steering wheel is legal. I tend to drive with one hand, just right of "12 o'clock," which doesn't even exist on the prototype wheel. (I don't even know if "10 and 2" exist on that wheel). So if that makes it to market, I and many others are going to have to get used to a different driving position.
I wonder if there are any regulations on the steering wheel shape? I suppose you could have a sharp triangle steering wheel and it would be fine - except very annoying to use.
Here's an idea; DIY if you don't like how it comes from Austin. THAT is how we actual truck people have been building trucks for decades now, on our own. Today, you have 9 million varieties of DIY video instructions on the YouTubes....
Rumors say it will be a fully configurable Playstation Controller. You can drive from the Bed with a custom Harness that slides into the track system and the optional magnetic boots.
