  • What tires cost $500 each?
  • Thanks to its comprehensive, innovative concept, the Taycan is perfectly prepared for the demands of the future. It typifies everything that has always defined the character of any Porsche: vivid emotion and maximum driving pleasure.

From the dealer? All of them, I presume. Sold mine a long time ago.

Porsche should be proud of the Taycan, it is the top EV in the world, top car in the world.

    Here's video of it's 270 mile range at 70mph.

On the five years on the tires, tire mfgs. will agree with that though extend the time period up to 10 years but Porsche is following the mfgs. recs on super high performance tires.

Can agree that starting price on Porsche Taycan is $103k. So many options and choices.

A little black tape should fix that service light.
  • Wouldn’t a $25 scan tool be able to reset that?
  • Rupert Stadler was 11 years Audi CEO, long rumored to become the new VW Group CEO and is indicted because of the Diesel scandal

    Stadler about the responsible Engineers

"Camouflage and deception have long been part of a culture of work, and perhaps a culture of fear"

If they had "dropped their pants" Stadler said and revealed their knowledge back in the fall of 2015, Audi would have been spared a lot.

But is the best EV ever made.
  • But it is really not.

But Porsche really is as no other EV mfg has 800V system yet, not even Tesla though Musk is hoping to have it on Tesla Roadster.
  • Irrelevant because Tesla charges faster still.

Taycan charges faster currently at 277kWh on the Electrify America 350kWh chargers, also the fastest.

    it's OK...Tesla is close

"But on the faster V3 superchargers, the Model 3 attained a rate of 651 km/h, which is just 10% slower than the Taycan."

The word is Yes the Porsche is the most advanced car in the world.
  • No way to quantify that claim.
  • Well, yes the Taycan is the most advanced Porsche in the world. As for EVs, the Taycan Turbo S fails in almost every metric against the Tesla Model S P100D that costs about half as much. The Tesla charges faster, has a higher top speed, faster 0-60, and has the best charging network. Now the Taycan does offer exclusivity since so few want to buy it, and that can be appealing to some.
  • The Malibu crowd will buy a few.
  • Rclown got one and now banned.
  • "Rclown got one and now banned."

    Specifics?
