I have a new (less than 1 month) Model Y. Within one week of receiving it, it started making single and double clicking noises when I would accelerate or release the accelerator, at speeds 0-20 mph. I brought it for service. They said it was a factory defect of insufficient lubrication on the rear axle, particular audible on the driver side. They lubricated. Two days after picking it up, the same problem has resumed. Very disappointing for a new car, particularly even 2 week wait times for service.
Anyone have this problem? Is it really lubrication or it a mechanical problem with the part?
