2020 battery range

Two months ago I traded a 2018 M3 for a 2020 M3 in part to get the extra 30 or so miles of range, and because Carvana was willing to pay me a very fine price for my '18.

My battery will not fill past 237m although the stated range is 263. I spoke with TESLA and they said my battery is fine and that the 263 is an ESTIMATED range.

Anyone else have these range issues on a '20 M3?

And, as a general comment the car is great but dealing with Tesla sales or service is a mind numbing experience. Spoke with two people today and got no usable information. Someone "with the expertise" was to call me back hours ago and no word from them.

    The rated range is 263 miles. If you charge to 100%, drive the car to depletion in a single trip while matching the rated efficiency in wh/mi, you should get approximately 263 miles. The battery meter range is just an estimate that is influenced by external factors such as temperature and is subject to miscalibration. Search the forum for more information as there are many threads on this topic.

    I believe 2020's are rated at 250 mile range. 2021 are 263 mile range.
