Internal Trim popped out

I purchased the car about 2 months back, within first week I noticed the Trim popped out, and I raised a service request. Teh service personnel came home fixed it, but looks like did a dodgy job. It popped out again within couple of weeks.
I raised another service request to fix this for once. Now I am getting an estimate of 135AUD, which is unfair considering the problem was never fixed in the first place and car is not even 2 months old. There is no option but to "Approve" in the service - section of the app.

What do I do?

  • It would be helpful to know what piece of trim is popping out.
  • I have had a couple of service requests where the app required me to approve a charge (one was for $900) but they never charged me when I explained what happened. I can almost guarantee that unless it is obviously your fault they will fix it FOC, especially as they have already tried to fix it unsuccessfully. Let us know how you get on.
  • As pointed out, the estimated cost is a formality and isn’t charged for warranty repairs.
  • Exactly my experience. No charges.
