I went from 1.50.1 to 20.50.3, I believe just this morning. The app still only shows release notes from 1.50.1 and .2, which is calls Oct 2020 release.
I got 20.40.3 sometime overnight (1/10 - 1/11/21). I saw it quickly flip from 1.50.1 to 20.40.3 as I scrolled down on the splash page of the app. Still no release notes for 20.40.3.

One bug fix that this version definitely has, is finally reporting the Self-Powered % correctly on 3-phase supply. Which is great
We've had 20.40.3 in Australia (2x Powerwall 2s) for about a week. No release notes either. But Self-Powered % has been wrong ever since we we changed over from single-phase to 3-phase grid supply about a year ago.
We're 100% self-powered most days, but it was reporting ~80%-90% every day, despite no grid usage. Which was totally wrong. It was reported, but Tesla said it was a known software bug. Took a while to get fixed, but it's correctly showing 99-100% now (close enough).

Same here and same location.
