Is there anyway to reverse the Tesla SREC Credit?

I have recently signed and got the Solar panel installed. While signing the contract there was a credit for $2080 and I thought that it is a a credit Tesla is giving for buying the panels without realizing that I m selling the SREC credits to Tesla for life time. Later I went back to tesla and told them that I am ready to pay $2080 and asked them them to reverse the contract, they denied it. Is there any options and I would appreciate our time and help.

    The time to make contract changes is *before* signing. It's called "doing your due-diligence".

    Tesla has zero obligation or motivation to make contract changes now. Any leverage you had disappeared when you signed the contract. It's just the way these things work.

    Consider it a lesson learned, and move on.
