Adjust trunk open height

My trunk always opens too little. Is there a way to adjust it to max?

    Manually push it up to the max. Press and hold the "close" button until it beeps (about 5 seconds). Then try it out. It should remember the new setting.

    This does not work. I have tried it many times with no success. Quite frustrating!

    Works outside. When in garage it won’t override sensors.

    But, jeez, do you really want it to override the sensors? Yeah, it doesn't open the trunk much in my garage, but then I just push it open wider.
