Wrong again. Thanks for playing the home game.
  • Ugh. Some people leave a slime trail everywhere they go.
  • @Daisy the Road Rocket
You just can't stand people talking good about another car maker can you?
  • nice another FISH and Darth shit show Taycan thread.
  • I get that people love their Tesla. I love mine and would never buy a Taycan.

But insurrection is going a bit far - Taycan won the race. Get over it.
  • Very sick and cruel to compare this bs thread to what happened last week.
  • could literally just stop fucking arguing with fish and darth, but no. perpetually and indefinitely validate this garbage please.

sorry to hear about your dad passing

There was another person on here that was seriously an asshole that got banned but we don't miss him or have separation anxiety over it. His name was Bb0tin.

The reason we wont have separation anxiety, because there is always another asshole like you ready to take your spot.

Good call out. Totally agree. Excerpt from the article:

"Fortunately, Conner tells us that he had the engineers at both Porsche and Electrify America on speed dial for this run. Despite it being New Year's Eve, he was able to work with the teams to ensure that the car was operating to its potential (despite the bugs) and the chargers he was visiting were both working and reliable."

A normal Taycan owner would not have this experience and would be stuck. Not a true example of the ownership experience.
  • If you see a comparison, that is on you.
  • 44 hours 26 minutes, that isn't that far off from what can be accomplished in an ICE.
  • The Taycan website says it takes 22.5 minutes (minimum at the fastest charger) to get 80% of battery capacity. To drive The Cannon Ball Run from NY to LA is 2,800 miles. They did it in 28 hours per CBS link at bottom of post. The car has at best a 200 mile range. This means at least 5.5 hours of charging if they hit a max performance empty and ready charger every 200 miles on the direct path needed. CBS claims they averaged 103 miles per hour. However after subtracting for minimum possible charge time, they'd have to average 125 miles per hour.

Something is wrong with this story.

this article is not about the Taycan

Everybody has EA on speed dial, same as Kyle from InsideEV's who did the run, they answer the 800 number on all the chargers if you have any issues.

Nothing special about the car, nothing special about the EA chargers, other than top being 350kW vs. Tesla's top of 250kW.
  • It’s just a jokey event. Tesla can “win” next week.
  • Especially if the car doesn't limit charging power...

Well Tesla does limit charging power. At the EVgo after work for a quick boost. EVgo delivering 45kW but car only seeing 33kW. Warm afternoon, car just driving 60 miles, battery warm.

Looks like Tesla imposes limits on non-Tesla charging.
  • Looks like false claim by troll. Flagged.
  • just flag fish BS and move on
    nothing to see here

Well we can observe the Tesla fanbois obssession with Porsche EV.
  • Yes, we can see Tesla hater obsession with Tesla fan boys forum.
