I have a MS Plaid and MSPlaid+ on order (the latter since battery day). Sales team contacted me with any questions. I inquired about yoke and they said they expect no regulatory issues in USA. UK has already approved.

My thoughts exactly. My order ETA is March 1-31. If they plan on remotely making that timeline they won't be making an on the fly change.

Ok, just because these photo's and videos of test mules were just released, doesn't mean that's exactly what the production cars will be fitted like.

I mean, what if a video surfaced today of the prototype Model S from 2009. Would everyone think that's what is next for the S. Have people completely lost the ability to put things in context?

@BH - Good catch.

There are missing parts on the upper and lower dash trim and upper door trim. This is typical on a pre-production vehicle when all the cosmetic parts are not available yet. It might also explain the old version steering wheel in the car. Gear selector buttons are not on the console either.

I wonder what the blue electrical connection is for on the door. There are no buttons or lights on the missing trim that I can see on the Tesla site images of the door. Could be some kind of subtle ambient light?

About how the new repeaters are an improvement for FSD. Anyone else think they are just bigger to see around the wider fender? Nothing new, just moved the camera to make up for the fender flares?

Ahhh come on JAD, that would require giving pause and thought before posting it on the internet.

It's like those people quickly citing that picture of a new S with a regular steering wheel, that was clearly a test mule, as proof that the new yoke steering "wheel" was optional.

Now, I heard from this patient in the waiting room at the doctor's office who was talking about the people next to her at Starbuck's mentioned that the yoke wheel was shown on the internet and is definitive proof its implementation on all Tesla models - but still being optional.

I'm don't see how anyone can say the yoke wheel is optional or not yet. Possible, but looking at a pre-production build that is not complete makes me suspect it's just a temporary wheel until the new wheel goes into production. Or it could be some countries do not allow the yoke, so those countries get the round wheel. Lots of speculation is interesting, but unclear what the facts are yet.
