Panel Buyout

I have reached the 5 year mark on my leased panels and was thinking about buying them out. anyone do this? Pros and cons? Tesla said they still will be under warranty for repairs.

Pro - you're in control which can be very important in a later house sale.

Con - The buyouts are often quite expensive. They are priced on what it cost when installed, and current prices are often quite a bit lower. Anyway, be prepared for "sticker shock".
