Normal to see white paint primer in door jam?

Every time I open my driver side door my eye catches a glint of white primer like paint visible in the door jam. Looks like the blue paint covering the rest of the Tesla was sprayed on after doors were attached which made coating the entire door jam difficult. Not visible from outside of car. Not sure if this is normal or if worth driving over to Tessa to check. Since the drive is a long one I thought I would ask here first. Any thoughts? Thanks.

  • I don't quite understand what you are seeing, but you are correct - the doors are installed and then the car is painted. This ensures a perfect color match. Here is a picture of a Model S being painted:
