Where is located the third motor ?

Hi, I know for the option of 2 motors, they are located on each axles. For the option of 3 motors I can't find the answer.
How does the 3rd motor work with the 2 others to allow almost twice the distance?

    It's one motor in the front for both Wheels and in the back each wheel gets its own motor.
