Autopilot is awesome

It's human nature not appreciate things when they are going well, and to complain when something is not perfect. It's only when something is taken away you realize how good it was!

Yesterday we took my wife's E450 convertible on a local trip (200mi roundtrip). I was noticeably fatigued at the end of the day. This never happened to me in my M3. I then realized the lack of auto-pilot and regen braking were the primary factors. Autopilot is not perfect, but it goes a long way in reducing driver fatigue, and very likely boosts safety on long drives.
