Difficulty getting our Roadster serviced

edited November -1 in Roadster
Has anyone else had any difficulty scheduling service for their Roadster as the number of Model S owners have increased? We are in NC and a new Tesla service center opened in Raleigh, which is about 2 1/2 hours from us. We thought it would be that much more convenient to get our vehicle serviced since we had to go through D.C., Miami and Atlanta previously. However, this has not been the case and we can't even get the service manager to return our calls.

They just set up a service center in Houston, and the garage had 10 model S and three Roadsters when I dropped it off the first time. I made the appointment a week in advance, and they kept it for three days ( only one tech for Roadsters) and didn't get all the work done!

I picked it up as I had an event I wanted it for, and they did detail it and drop it at my house. Then they picked it up, and got the work done inside a week (had to order parts).

Because of the Texas Dealer lobby, they had to route service calls thru California, but they have always been responsive, I think they are overwhelmed with new cars being sold and delivered thru these service centers.

I fear the Roadsters will always take a second place to the S, but eventually there will be third parties that can work on them...

Well, horses for courses. There are as many Roadsters in the US as MSes delivered in about a month. You want TMC to be a mass market maker? Be careful what you ask for. You might get it.
