Free long-distance trave for ALL FUTURE VEHICLES!!!
Meaning not only Generation3, but also the Tesla EV models AFTER Generation3.
It will be just like with the Tesla Model S. If you buy a Generation3 vehicle with a smaller battery pack, then you will have to pay an extra $2,000 for the Supercharger option (just like the 60kWh Model S).

Tesla could have chosen to charge for SC use. I think it would be a more efficient use of capital. Certainly would keep folks from abusing by occupying the slots for too long after charging. However, I suspect this is marketing as well.
I own a 85P and I have yet to find an absolute need for SC. I take trips and I get to charge at the destination. I guess with SC, I would speed up just for fun and then spend 20 min charging.
>;)
If there was a SC, I would need 10-15 min to top off with the newer chargers.
I am beginning to think that if prices go to $25-30k for the generation after Model E, and 200 Mile range, the ice market would get hurt. In 10 years it could happen.
That would be the Generation 4 Tesla EV.

Guess I'll be ordering a "Gen3", not an i3.
