Roadster

Is the $50k deposit on the base model refundable?

With the model 3, customers could cancel their reservations at any time. $50k for the base model is a lot to put down on a car that isn't built yet, so is it refundable in full?

I assume so although I did not see it mentioned anywhere on the Tesla website.

I heard that $5000 out of that deposit is non-refundable.

Quote from the purchase agreement document:

"Until you enter into a Purchase Agreement, your Reservation may be cancelled at any time, in which
case you will receive a full refund of your Reservation Payment."

https://www.tesla.com/sites/default/files/roadster/TeslaRoadsterReservationAgreement_20171116.pdf -- I was about to quote the same thing as Rutrow.

I see the link on my M3 reservation page to cancel that order & get a refund. I don't see that on my Roadster reservation page yet, but I'm between the initial credit card charge and having them receive my wire transfer.
