Password protection for my Tesla

edited November -1 in General
I was just wondering, does Tesla have any plans to add a password system to the car that we can choose to use. It seems very easy for anyone to take a fob off you and swipe your car. It'd be nice to be able to turn on a password protection system so that even if someone does make it into your car, the system refuses to engage unless you unlock it through the touchscreen or maybe even voice activation/recognition software.

    Good idea!
    I'd second that.

I wonder if/assume Tesla has secret corporate anti-theft mechanisms and capabilities.

It would be nice if they implemented a similar system like android cell phones, where you can choose from facial detection, to a pattern, or a key sequence.
