Does anyone know if all of the features that Telsa says is part of it's premium subscription (video streaming, live traffic, kareoke, etc.) works if you connect the car to your phone's hotspot?

    Everything works over hotspot except live traffic visualization. Nav system always uses life traffic data in routing (even without hotpsot), but without a premium subscription it will never display the visualizationon screen.

    Note - using hotspot requires some patience as the car disconnects wifi (and therefore your hotspot) every time you take it out of park. So you have to take the car out of park, hold the brake and then connect to your phone everytime you start a trip.

    You don’t get satellite maps view without Premium, even on WiFi.
