The high side bed panels reminded me of the 2004-2014 Honda Ridgeline. The high side bed panels make it difficult to retrieve tools/materials from the back of the bed.
Suggestion. 1. Extend the side steps all the way to the front of the rear wheel. 2. Built-in step pocket.

    Put tools in the frunk. Also did you see those side compartments on the bed that were in the rendered images during the unveil? i wonder if they are going to keep those, as that could be a good tool place as well.

    Step on the rear tire. Works for me....
