Schedule Departure and Climate controls

I tried setting the schedule departure yesterday in my new MY. It started in the morning to set the interior climate but did not set the seats to warm and I could not add them to warm in the app. I could not do warming seats until I turned the climate off in the app and and turned it back on to choose heated seats.

    I could be wrong, but I believe the climate simply turns on based on the settings when you last left the car. If you want the heated seats on for scheduled departure, they need to already be turned on.

    On the other hand, if you are pre-warming the cabin using Scheduled Departure, shouldn't the heat be on long enough to warm the seat anyway? You can always add the seat heater when you depart, doesn't take long to feel it.

    The trick is to set the seat heaters to where you want it to be, before you get out of the car at the end of the day.
