Winter Package - Heated steering wheel

Winter Package - Heated steering wheel

I have a BMW X3 with a heated steering wheel. It is wonderful in cold weather - no driving gloves necessary.

I sure hope the Model X will have the option. With heated seats and a heated steering wheel, power (battery drain) to heat the inside air could be minimized.

Part of the cold weather package, AFAIK.

On the S already so can't see why they'd leave it off the X.

I think the cold weather package also comes with the Enhanced Rear Seating. If the X has enhanced 2nd Row, maybe the same configuration.

F€#< the rear seat passengers, I want warm hands without having to buy heated seats for them!

I know, askin' ain't gettin'....

The heated steering wheel is also a standalone option (part of the cold weather package) for $750. It does not require enhanced sedating.

oops - Freudian slip - - I meant enhanced "seating"

I don't have heated stering wheel in my p85d with cold weather package.

Sorry to hear that @nelsonc. You must have missed this feature, because it's definitely there now. Looking at the Model-S site, the current Subzero Weather Package contains the following:
- Heated steering wheel
- 3 zone rear seat heaters
- Wiper blade defrosters
- Washer nozzle heaters

Not sure if it's different for other countries, but I'm in Canada.
