Looking for aftermarket FITTED all-weather floor mats, but can't find any

I've been looking around the internet for a set of fitted all-weather floor mats for the Model 3, but I can't find anyone who makes them. The dealer price of $145 seems overpriced to me. Has anyone had luck finding a set?

gordon_r_benson | 17 April, 2019

Just get the 3D MAXpider ones. They are worth every penny. I've never seen floor mats that fit so beautifully in a car and protect the ENTIRE floor.

Tuxmats are awesome as well.

I got a better price off EV Tuning Solution with some coupon codes. Total cost to my door was $358 for interior and trunk/frunk mats.

cascadiadesign | 17 April, 2019

+1 for the 3D MAXpider mats. They fit so well they look built into my Model 3. And they should - these are not "Universal" mats. Mine don't look like an "after-market" add-on at all. Excellent color & texture for the Tesla.

coleAK | 17 April, 2019

Another vote for the 3D maxpider. We’ve had Husky, and weathertech for years. The 3Ds held up to the Alaska winter perfectly.

xtcTesla | 17 April, 2019

I'll vouch for the 3d maxpider, as they fit near perfect in my other car and are so easy to clean.

fasheriff | 17 April, 2019

How. Does Weather Tech compare?

borne.by.wind | 17 April, 2019

+1 for 3DMaxpider. They fit so tight in the front that a blade of grass has no chance of migrating under the mat.

The_Flash | 17 April, 2019

TuxMat. love them

elecfan2 | 17 April, 2019

Looks like the forums are messing up again.

coleAK | 17 April, 2019

@fasheriff. I’m pretty sure weathertech dosnt make the floor liner for the model 3 yet. Just the basic rubber mat. Husky have the Mogo that is a floor liner style. Honestly though, I only ordered the maxpider because they were all that was available this past fall for a true high side all weather mat. However they are more refined ( read less truck like) than the traditional Husky or weather tech.

Damnit - now I just spent $200.00

I have leather, all weather, waterproof mats from https://www.manicci.com/. A bit above your budget but to me worth it. My car is red with a black interior. So I got black leather with red diamond stitching. Great mats.

Goodnight_LO | 18 April, 2019

Thanks @odave47

Amazon had $10 clip coupon, $75 for both front and rear mats!

ghoop1 | 18 April, 2019

TuxMats are fantastic. I now have two sets.

phinallydone03 | 19 April, 2019

3D Partcatalog. Love the mats. Worth it!

andrewlee05 | 19 April, 2019

Plus one for 3D maxpider. Fits well and protects the floor. Don’t like the logo but been too lazy to remove them.

snc | 19 April, 2019

Thanks for the suggestions - I looked at them and decided to go with the 3D Maxpider - just what I had in mind.

CharleyBC | 19 April, 2019

We did spring for the $145 Tesla brand mats. Not a bargain price, admittedly, but we've been very happy with how they fit and the protection they offer in cruddy weather. I guess I'll switch back to the carpet ones once I'm sure the rain is done and no more snow trips...

Kary993 | 19 April, 2019

@CharleyBC - same experience here, good matts, look nice, and clean up easily.

ken.lunde | 19 April, 2019

I tried aftermarket non-fabric mats in one of our M3s, but didn't care for them, so I sprung for the Tesla brand ones for both of our M3s. My wife and I are completely happy with them. They fit really well.

CASEMAN | 19 April, 2019

I did the Tesla floor mats as well as trunk and frunk - love them all.

ultimate_99 | 19 April, 2019

I just got the 3D MAXpider ones also..
I figured the most $ should be the best. I was amazed how little they weighed. But they DO look and fit fantastic. And they should hold any snow and water with their high perimeter rim.

TexasBob | 29 April, 2019

Another +1 for the 3D MAXpiders. Very nice fit and finish, excellent protection for the vehicle.

Iwantmy3 | 30 April, 2019

Ok, I am convinced. I just ordered 3D MAXpiders from Costco. I had previously purchased the trim to fit version last fall before the custom fit version was available. Now that the custom fit version is here, it is time to upgrade.

Great price through Costo.ca.

Hey, you guys found that TapTes have this 3D floor mats for Model S only costs $99.99? Is it real? Has any body bought? Waiting for some suggestion.

I will be ordering the TapTes all weather floor mats. https://www.taptes.com/products/taptes-3d-all-weather-floor-mats-for-tes... Couldn’t pull the trigger on the maxpider because of the logo.

eabellada12 | 25 October, 2019

I got the ToughPRO Floor Mats from Amazon. Make sure to check the when your Model 3 was build because they did change the rail size and added a wheel mechanism for the front 2 seats to help with the recoil.

The 3D Maxpider looks nice but for $200+ I would expect it to do everything. The downfall of their design is when in the snow or when you spill liquid, it will move everywhere.

The ToughPro has soccer cells that keep the liquid in place. The link is below. I think for $79.95 and what this material can do, it the most bang for your buck.

I purchased a Topfit Waterproof Floormat set from Amazon for $70 and have been very pleased. The fit was virtually perfect in my Model 3, and I think they look really great. Only had them 7 months, but they look like new.

I have Maxpider's from some time back, but would have bought the Taptes if they had been available at the time.

The raised edges are good, and the rubber cover over the left dead-pedal is what I want - most others do not have that.

apodbdrs | 25 October, 2019

+1 for 3DMaxpider,

jrweiss98020 | 26 October, 2019

I'm happy with my 3D MaxSpiders. A Sharpie dulls the logo enough that I no longer notice it.

paulsurette71 | 27 October, 2019

I can't believe you didn't try this website:https://lmgtfy.com/?q=model+3+floor+mats&s=g

In case that doesn't work:

Tesla: https://shop.tesla.com/en_ca/product/model-3-all-weather-floor-liners (Made by WeatherTech)
TuxMat: https://www.tuxmat.ca/products/456-tesla-model-3-custom-mat?year=2019&va...

I personally use the Tesla ones front, back and trunk. I use the TuxMat ones in the trunk and bottom trunk, If I had to do it over I probably would have bought all TuxMat.

rtshefe | 27 October, 2019

rented a m3p on turo with the maxpider mats..they look factory and are very attractive. I ordered some when I ordered my m3p..although they have been sitting in the garage now for 4 weeks and will probably be waiting another 8 weeks till the car is here :(

sa012 | 28 October, 2019

I got these and love them. Got floor mats, rear mat (top & well) & frunk mat and they fit perfect and $280. They all fit like a glove and look great.

All three for the trunk(s) and the three for inside. $280 and that includes free shipping.

I just spent some time researching. There are so many M3 mat options available, at all different price points.

Given some great custom fit options, it doesn't make any sense to buy generic mats - even if you save a few bucks.

The 3D MAXpider ($205 from Amazon) mats look good and it seems are popular here. But it's hard to justify paying nearly 2X for those mats (especially given people's general dissatisfaction with their design choice to include a prominent logo on the mats). Their margins on those mats must be nice and fat. Good for them.

After a lot of reading, it appears that the TapTes mats are a solid, less expensive alternative at $125 directly from TapTes. Same 3d construction, good reviews here and on their website (https://www.taptes.com/collections/tesla-model-3-interior-accessories/pr...). That's what I'm going with ... will update with my thoughts once I get them.

Another +1 for 3d MaxSpiders

95dawg | 29 October, 2019

I considered this initially:

$25 budget option (just have to get over the stupid logo)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07S943SRT/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_vBhUDb69EM6BE

But got this:
