Car preheats just fine, but then starts blowing cold air...

This has happened for the last two days now. I preheat the car to 82 degrees, when I get in, its nice and toasty in there so i turn the temp down a bit. Then after driving for a while (10-15 minutes) I turn the temp back up to high and the it starts blowing cold air. i have let it run like this for several minutes to see if it will heat up and it doesn't... Anyone run into this issue before?

Thanks,

Yes. It is much better you just set it to whatever temperature you want on auto and leave it there. I think where heat is only produced if electric heater is generating heat unlike a gas car where heat is always there is an engine byproduct. Given that it’s sort of cuts on and off. I’ve been doing the opposite re-heat to 65 then bump it to 67 when I get in. As for the climate control in general. I have tried almost every possible manual setting and auto works better.
