"Hardware upgrades" in service plans

Has anybody who purchased a service plan had any hardware upgrades unrelated to warranty work done on their car? I'm curious what these "hardware upgrades" as indicated on the service plan page could refer to?

Upgrading existing hardwares are included. For example, rear axle nuts were there and were then upgraded for no extra cost.

Upgrading hardwares that were not the options that you bought will cost extra. For example, adding parking sensors will cost more.

When I got a loaner, I noticed that the cover for the rear lower cargo space (that child seats fold into) was much nicer than what I got originally with my 2012 S 85. They gave me a new one when I asked for it. I also got the upgraded front and rear floor mats.

I inquired about what was and was not included in the 'hardware upgrades' about three months ago.

Tam has given you the correct answer. While TM will probably liberally interpret the contract to include the mats smd mentioned they will not be putting in adaptive cruise, parking or blind spot sensors without a charge.

I believe Tesla is replacing everyone's floor mats upon request, this has nothing to do with the service plan or anything other than courtesy.
