Missing seat heaters

Missing seat heaters

I picked up my car on Saturday. Love it. Noticed on Sunday that i couldn't figure out how to turn on the seat heaters. No icon in the climate control area. Figured it was because I needed a software update.

Well, software is updated and still no seat seater controls. Anyone else seen this?
I also dont have the memory saving section for different drivers.

FIRMWARE V1.15.8

I have little seat icons as the right-most and left-most in the climate control area. Tapped the driver's side one three times during the walk-thru at delivery (this last Sunday, 10/21), to cycle through the settings. Didn't keep it on long enough to see if it heated up, but the control was definitely there for me.

You have leather?

Volker.Berlin | October 23, 2012

jbunn means to say that there are two options for seats:

"Textile: Finely appointed interior features hand wrapped surfaces of cloth and synthetic leather materials. 8-way power adjustable seats."

"Nappa Leather: Hand-wrapped surfaces of soft supple Nappa leather. 12-way, power adjustable, heated seats."

While the leather option comes standard with the Performance, Signature, and Signature Performance versions, if for whatever reason you chose to "downgrade" to a leather-free interior, you may be missing out on the seat heaters.

Also IIRC heated seats are needed to get heated side mirrors. Same circuitry or something.

I have the performance model with black leather interior.
No icons on the bottom climate screen

If doutt has already picked up his car, I can't see how he would not have a Sig with all the options including heated leather seats (they only come one way, as far as I am aware?).

doutt, Did you fin the seat-heat button(s), or is it still missing?

I have a non-performance Signature with black leather seats, and I definitely have the seat warmers, and the icons that control them. They heat up pretty quickly, so you only need to leave it on for 20s or so before you can tell that they are working.

@ doutt - Firmware v1.15.8 is the latest firmware. It should include seat heaters and the driver's profiles. Try resetting the 17" touch screen - depress both the right and left scroll wheels on the steering wheel until the touch screen goes blank (about 10 seconds). The touch screen will recover on its own. If that doesn't work, you may have a problem that Tesla needs to fix.
