Tesla Motors Club owners shut down my account

A quick note to all the friends I've known in the TMC forums, where I've enjoyed a great many months and benefited from all the knowledge shared there.

Yesterday TMC disabled my account without warning or any communication. I don't know why but my guess is that they didn't like that fact that I wanted to delete one of my posts. I guess I learned the hard way that on TMC you do not own your own words; they own them and can do what they wish with them.

I will miss the community there, but I will not miss the capricious, arbitrary, and nameless moderators/owners who just decided to shut me down without any explanation or warning.

Yeah, the moderator's hat is about 5 sizes too big for some over there.

AmpedUP | April 18, 2014

brianstorms ... wow, is that the only reason they banned you? I just love the fact that there is usually no warning or communication from heavily moderated sites in these situations. Moderators tend to be personalities that enjoy demonstrations of power, and love to "pull the trigger" without warning.

@AmpedUP

That's just their way of coping with the reality of their own real world self-emasculation as a means of compensating for a certain physical inadequacy by taking their frustration out on others through the abuse of their self-enabled moderator power over website posters....

@brainstorms

Don't sweat it, you're welcome to post here all you'd like.

They don't allow discourse that is outside of their fanboy dedication to Tesla. Anyone that complains to much about their cars or has issues gets banned. Interesting that Tesla lets them use their logo on their site, they must endorse such behavior.

@ewd7: A little late to the party, aren’t you?

LOL, and this site is better?

NKYTA | April 22, 2019

@kcheng, for those sharing useful information, it has done fine over the years.

For those trying to spread FUD, maybe less so.

carlk | April 22, 2019

Hear, hear,

kcheng | April 23, 2019

Yes, and who is watching the FUDwatchers?

blue adept | April 24, 2019

All things considered I wouldn't feel too bad about it since they're (the moderators) all a bunch of fake, fraudulent, poser asshats, @evcarfan91.

I CONTINUE TO BE UNABLE TO PLAY ANY USB DRIVE MUSIC IN MY S90. THIS IS AN OLD AND WELL KNOWN ISSUE AND ONE THAT TESLA SEEMS NOT TO CARE ABOUT. I HAVE CHANGED FILE FORMAT, CHANGED THE ACTUAL DRIVE REBOOTED BOTH THE CAR AND THE TOUCH-SCREEN. ANYONE HAVE AN UPDATE. i FIND IT ABSOLUTELY INCOMPREHENSIBLE THAT A $110K CAR CAN'T PLAY MUSIC

@jmh: hit the key labelled "caps lock"

TeslaTap.com | May 10, 2019

@jmheineke - Not on old or well known issue unless you're using a crap USB drive. There are many counterfeit and fake USB drives that are junk. Don't know if this is your issue or not, but I suspect it is. All CAPs with a topic unrelated to the thread looks like Bot spam. I hope this is not the case.
