Steering Wheel making noise

A 2-year new 27k miles Model S steering wheel start making noise. Does anyone have the same issue? Tesla would charge a fee to inspect this problem because noise is not covered under warranty?

What kind of noise? How do you know it's not covered under warranty?

You can schedule an appointment in the mobile app and ask about the charge and warranty when they get back to you.

By the way, replying with a copy of your original topic isn't necessary or helpful. We can already see the topic.

An unusual noise in a mechanical component can be indicative of a problem. Such problems are covered under warranty. There is an issue of misaligned steering rack causing a clicking noise, they install shims to solve this.
