ClearMotion Inc

ClearMotion Inc

My local paper had a business page article about a $100 million investment in Boston Mass. The is company called ClearMotion Inc. The company was formed in 2009 by MIT students who had been seeking to design a better shock absorber based on the same principles as sound canceling ear phones. All of the $100 M came from Silicon Valley's venture capitalists.
I looked at their web site and when I opened it I was looking at the 17" screen in the cot pit of a Tesla model S. They show how the ride changes with and without their shock absorber system.
Does anyone have more details? | February 6, 2017

Cool demo. Seems like there is zero information about it on the website.

Bose (the sound people) had an active suspension system like ClearMotion about 10 years ago, but then never heard any more about it. Might have been too costly or had long term reliability problems.

Wow, what an uninformative website Clearmotion has.

TT, thank you for the Bose system, they are just 30 miles west of MIT.

AARP has a fund for investments in technology that improves the lives of seniors. I saw an AARP article that said they had invested in Clearmotion as one of the products they decided was worth the investment.
