does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the $2500 rebate? I applied for it when i got my MS 7 weeks ago. Already received HOV stickers and thought those would take longer.
I sent an e-mail to them earlier this week as I too have been waiting for mine for about 6 weeks. They told me that they have been inundated with rebate requests and it is taking much longer than it used to for checks to be issued. She did reassure me that it will be delivered before 60 days from the date the application was approved.
ok thanks for the info. Makes sense considering most Teslas sold in CA.
I applied for mine at the end of January and got the cheque in mid-march, about 6 weeks. Took over a week for the cheque to clear after I deposited it.
Is there a way to check status (to make sure they got all necessary info and things are progressing)?
I got an email when I was approved for the rebate, and nothing since then. I applied for the rebate the day after I got my car. A few weeks later I got my license plates and applied for the HOV stickers. Got the HOV stickers, but still waiting on the rebate.
Received my approval email on March 27 and still waiting for check (37 days later). Their email confirms the 60 day wait: "Rebate checks are issued in the order applications were approved and will be made within sixty (60) days of application approval."
Got ours after 3 months.
I received my CA rebate within 2 weeks of submission. My paperwork was filed in late 2012, so maybe there were fewer applications to process.
Maybe since funds are running low, they want to prolong their jobs.
It took me a little over 2 months to get my check, back in early April.
It took longer to get my HOV stickers, and I still haven't got my title yet - is that normal?
How long for CA tags?
