Does anyone know if these batteries are suitable for cars. I know that Panasonic is the main supplier for the battery cells in the Tesla Model S.
I'd be interested in knowing if someone with good knowledge of battery technology has an opinion on whether these batteries may help improve the battery performance and hence range of Tesla EVs, this sentence particularly piqued my interest:
These batteries do not require temperature-maintaining heaters, thereby enabling simpler and lower-cost system designs and smaller installation space.
Any thoughts?
