i assumed they will stick with the NCA type but i read a recent article in the march 16th, 2015 edition of chemical and engineering news that they will build lithium iron phospahte (FPO) batteries. i havent heard this before. do any of you know more about this?
the article is called "batteries and the power business" but i cannot find an electronic copy to share here. FPO is cheaper, safer and not much less dense. i always wondered why they did not adopt it in the first place.
