Can anyone tell me does the Tesla navigation system offers speed camera warnings in the U.K.?
This does not appear to be a feature but you can set the car to give you a visual or auditory warning if you exceed the stated speed limit. The Standard range plus version does not seem to offer traffic alerts either, but the higher spec (with satellite mapping) does.
I got already traffic alerts. It would be great If I get a beep/warning just before the car approaches a fixed speed camera. Already google maps do have this feature. Really good feature if it is included with TESLA navigation as well.
Which model of the 3 do you have? How do you like it?
I'm a bit confused, based on your ability to start a new thread, you already have a Tesla. Can't you tell us if the nav has that feature?
No, it doesn’t show camera locations. It also lacks a variable speed limiter and the cruise control defaults to what the car thinks the speed limit is rather than your current cruise speed or last setting.
Keeping your licence clean in a Model 3 requires a lot more effort than in other cars.
@ibowroom I was a verified owner and able to start threads some time before taking delivery.
I have a Model3 Long range. I am from the UK. In the UK or Europe, most car navigation will have an inbuilt speed camera warning. They warn you just before approaching a speed camera.
" They warn you just before approaching a speed camera."
Google has plotted all the speed cameras? I think Tesla uses Google maps. Maybe adding for the speed cams is a feature Google sells to map customers like Tesla?
