For the Tesla Gen III, what 100 new features would you like to imagine or see available ?

Teslarians, what futuristic, hitech, game changer, ultra green, uber-cool, alto safety, mass production friendly, cost reducing, profit increasing features should Tesla's next generation, Gen III, vehicle have ? Also include Model C, S & X.

Whether large or small, simple or complex, technical or not, what are your ideas ?

To get started, here are some thoughts:

1) Put see through glass Tesla Shield
on hood  made of painted glass. The
shield and letter T are left clear glass
and shows off the frunk by day. At
night a Hue light , with millions of
color variations can can be turn on
inside the frunk to light up the shield
   and T during night driving.

2) Have detachable Household AC plug
battery  packs near base of seats
powered by solar panels on roof.

3) Anti crash system stops car from
  running into things. Qualifies for
  insurance discount?

4) Retractable semi-opaque, tinted sun
 visors controlled by button on
steering wheel similar to pulling down
 a window shade electronically. It's
more functional because it allows the
driver to control visor on driver's
 window, passenger window, and both
sides of the windshield. Could this be the world's best sun visor?

5) Have all wheels turn to 90 degrees,
great for parallel parking. Have car
  capable of self parking.

6) Create @tesla/ Internet
    extension  for car related services
    only to compliment .com sites.

The .car extensions have voice only interface, with limited button pushing similar to a radio, no texting except through voice to text.

7) Shape the red tail lights as close
as possible to the Tesla T Logo.
Red led lights across bumper under
the plate spell out Tesla Motors EV
  and highlight when brakes applied.

8) Equip Gen III with two sliding doors
or 4 regular doors. To create
  easier access the opening door
includes 1/3 of the roof. Also press a
button in the door jamb to slide the
  front seats forward.

A variation of this, have 1/3 strip of
roof retract toward the center of the
roof when you open the door.

9 ) NFD Near Field Discounts auction.
Type in lunch etc. 5 miles distance,
2hrs for exa and nearby Merchants
  continuously update bids against
  each other on giving you
  discounts for lunch.

10) KeyPay/CarPal digitized keychain
can be used to pay electronically,
      and receits  are tagged& organized
      into personal & business categories
      for taxes. Syncs with smartphone
app and car consol to store info on the web.

11) Computerized self parking, both
      back in and parallel .

Can I also add free auto insurance and immunity against traffic violations? :)

CCS ready charging port for when superchargers are a bit far away. (only 2 extra pins required).

Bad ass instead of conservative design. And more colours.

Looped In car video recording for accident liability proof and security monitoring of the car whilst away.

Look to side cameras for pulling out of narrow driveways.

A PV panel on the roof to stop the 12V battery running down whilst running as a security camera.

Having voice reconignition for everything for hands free operations, and the car speaks to you. (no turbo boost button thanks).

Sliding 40/20/40 fold flat rear seats. Choose leg room or trunk space in any combination.

Rear radar on the autopilot.

Ability to dock with superchargers and self park when charging completed.. Also to wait unattended for an ICEd spot to become free.

Road train feature for slipstreaming with a 2 foot gap between cars. Using car to car communications. If the lead car spots an obstacle, the car a the rear car brakes first. Only the lead driver needs to be awake ;-) Cars get rotated to split energy use fairly.

Finally front and rear LED displays that let you send messages to other drivers
for the front : in reverse so they read the right way round in the mirror)
"Please move out of my way as I want to go faster then you"
"You car is emitting pollution, cough"
"Please look at the road in front of you not at my car"

And for the rear...
"If you get any closer you'll need toilet paper"
"3. 2. 1. Bye!"
"My other car is also a Tesla"

Tesla needs a secondary body and assembly shop so it can make van bodies and pickup bodies etc.

Great blast from the past. MOst of the features were provided in Gen III.

Yes, the M3 is an incredible car. We love our 3 month old M3, especially the efficiency which literally blows me away, as we are getting <215 wh/mi with the 19" sport rims, that are supposed to be less efficient than the 18" Aero rims. If that is true, people with the 18" rims must be running on only a few electrons. Our car will get every bit of the 310 mile range advertised, and then some more! ;0)

SamO | 04/05/2018

I've been getting low 200s averaging 70+mph to Vegas. With the 18" aero covers on. And my top speed often is over 80.

Tesla-David | 04/05/2018

@SamO, extremely impressive efficiency, way to go! ;0) M3 is incredible!

Right . . . such a bad-ass car in every way. I was at Whole Foods grabbing some sheep's milk feta and a lady stopped me in the garage and said "I have a reservation but my car is getting so old."

I told her to "get in and check it out"

She was so touched and we ended up talking for 15 minutes. She's convinced and expects delivery toward the end of this year. Only question was whether to spring for Model S.

No bad choices.

My wife loves here M3 so much she wants to wax it. She never does the cars as it's my job. This makes me very happy. I get to drive it once in awhile and just love it. The stereo is amazing and the AP is awesome and she likes it too, she used it on some streets with curves and it works nice. Of course our MS is still awesome but it is a different car. Happy to have both of them.

Tesla-David | 05/05/2018

Ditto, Mike, we love both cars, different animals, but Tesla's through and through. Can't go wrong with either. Funny you mention your wife's sudden need to take care of her new M3, Same behavior from my wife with her M3. The cars demand respect, and we never put them in the garage dirty. I thought after 5+ years I would become complacent, but no, my respect and love for our Tesla's has never waivered.

Mike83 | 05/05/2018

David. So many benefits that we didn't know until we owned and used the car for years now. I used to like the Jag XKE when I was a teen but now the Tesla is even more beautiful. It just feels so good. Our garage is so clean now with no oil or gas smells.
