Audience: Mainly for Tesla (if they're watching) and to confirm with other drivers
I made my first morning commute with WiFi tethered to my iPhone. It wasn't very pleasant:
1) Car does not auto-tether after leaving home
- This is a deal breaker if the idea is to encourage us to use our phones instead of Tesla's 3G.
- This could be a problem with iOS not allowing tethering when not on the tethering screen. If so, maybe Bluetooth or USB tethering options should be made available
2) Slacker radio flakes out. After a few songs, it just starts loading the title and skipping to the next song. Maps and browser work fine, so it must be a bug in the slacker app.
