Rear end clunk

Rear end clunk

Has anyone had a clunking sound in left rear upon hard acceleration ( standard or chill mode) and a rebound sound upon regenerative braking. Sounds like a suspension part has a bolt not correctly torqued and slips and hits a stop then goes back to rest position after braking. Normal acceleration gives no abnormal sound.

I did. Took it in, they lubed and torqued. Clunk gone.

I haven’t had this on my Model 3, but my 4-year-old Model S had this, and like @stefan, all they had to do was add some lubricant, and the annoyance went away. (“That’s what she said.”)

Yes for my Raven on hard accelerations. Would like to hear if others are experiencing.

I had an, initial acceleration, rear clunk noise fixed by removing and reinstalled the trunk interior pieces.

A initial acceleration rear rattle sound was fixed by greasing the axle.

All word of mouth, Oxnard CA service seems to be paperless.

Issue was bad rear end bushing. Solution replaced rear sub frame no issue after that now at 48000 miles
