Go here first for info before watching Fox News or White House Briefings.

Also go to your state website, they will have a link to a C19 site with all the local info and the above links

COVID-19 is not virus. It's a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus.
CO = Corona
VI = Virus
D = Disease
19 = Year of outbreak (2019)

For doctors and researchers they are offering free Lancet articles and also Springer Nature. The single stranded RNA virus is a large one of about 70 bp. In vitro tests and clinical studies are also done in China. I think some Chinese scientists might really be good to use. I hope the political crap stops.

Here is one link: BTW sometimes a little knowledge can be deadly. I suggest laymen and even MDs without training be careful.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.
