Few Questions for My College Assignment on Teslas

Hi thank you for welcoming me to your forum. I am doing a project for one of my environmental classes about Teslas and had a couple questions from owners. I only need a couple responses. I am an environmental and chemistry major hoping to become and environmental lawyer. I definitely don't fit into your high end vehicle community as I drive a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. I was hoping you guys could respond with answers to the following questions.

Model:
Year:
How long have you owned your Tesla:
Why you got a Tesla:
Do you use renewable energy (ie solar power) to charge your tesla:
If so what type:
Would you get another Tesla:
What are your other cars if you have any:

Thank you so much in advanced

Good choice. I suggest you also try contacting some online resource for electric vehicles. E. G. Insideevs.com they may have references to better structured researches on the topic.

S85D, 1 month, EV power, luxury, value, wind energy, yes, yes, yes, prius, BMW Z4, dodge diesel ... we drive the Tesla by far the most.

Model S 85; since early December 2014; Early adopter, wanted EV; no renewables; unquestionably would buy again; traded in my Mini, wife drives a Prius.

Model S 85
2013
2 years in June
Only EV that will go long distances, like to Las Vegas from Los Angeles.
Yes, Solar power
Yes I would buy again
Nissan Leaf, Zero electric motorcycle. Sold all gas vehicles (3 of them) when Tesla was bought.

2009 Jeep Wrangler? Check out the electric Land Rover they are now using in Africa for game drives. Someday soon you may be able to get one.

Model: Tesla Roadster
Year: 2008
How long have you owned your Tesla: 6 years this May
Why you got a Tesla: That #&*)*)%$) movie (Who Killed the Electric Car?) sucked us in. We decided to buy the first EV that had range, speed and fun. Thus, the Roadster! It is my daily driver
Do you use renewable energy (ie solar power) to charge your tesla: Yes
If so what type: Solar panels on the house
Would you get another Tesla: We did (see below)
What are your other cars if you have any: see below

Model: Tesla Model 2
Year: 2012
How long have you owned your Tesla: 3 years this August
Why you got a Tesla: It has range, speed and fun too but then they offered Superchargers. The Model S is exactly what we need along with the Roadster, our only 2 cars

The rest of the questions are the same

2014 Model S85. Owner for six months. I have always wanted to get away from fossil fuels for a variety of reasons; environmental concerns being at the top of the list. The performance and style of the car are also factors. I could write you a ten page essay on why I bought the Tesla but these are the high points:).

I am on renewable energy at home, wind energy through Green Mountain Energy. Eventually plan to get solar panels.

Only other car is my wife's. She has a Mercedes ML350. We drive my car almost exclusively when we are together.

Model S - P85
2014
11 months since purchase
Wanted truly better technology, loved the driving experience way above others
Absolutely will buy another -- planning on it
Other car is 2000 Toyota with almost 100,000 miles driven -- all by me

Good luck! As an environmental and chemistry major you fit in here IMHO.

Model: S60
Year:
2013
How long have you owned your Tesla:
27 months
Why you got a Tesla:
A compelling car, better in every way than my previous ICE Age vehicles.
Do you use renewable energy (ie solar power) to charge your tesla:
Not yet.
Would you get another Tesla:
Yes.
What are your other cars: Subaru Legacy, Alfa Romeo Spider, FJ Cruiser, Lexus ct200h.

I have owned 5 Jeeps, including 2 Wranglers. A Wrangler and a Model S are at polar opposite ends of the auto spectrum. The Tesla is smooth, quiet, quick and efficient … the Wrangler, in a word –Not! Another stand out feature are the Tesla Superchargers, you can't beat free.
