If you ever wonder (like I do) why we seem to be divided into two basic camps these days, (Why not 3, 4 or 17 camps?) then you might be interested in the linked survey. It consists of 22 questions that are easily answered by clicking a button on a scale from -4 to +4. There are no right/wrong answers, it's a measure of your attitudes on certain issues. It's also not the typical Republican v Democrat thing. To get the most out of it, you should answer as honestly as you can. Do the questions first before reading the explanations that follow (if you cheat and scroll down the only one you're cheating is yourself by possibly skewing the results). Once you answer the final question you will see a score below. Totally confidential, keep it to yourself. If enough people do it, then we can get into a subject that explains why we do what we do that I find fascinating and illuminating. Perhaps you will, too. If you decide to take a tumble and try it, if you'd respond and say "Did it" or something similar, I'll have an idea whether this falls flat or generates some interest. If we have 20 or more after a day or two, then we can discuss the thing further.
